Cornerstone Update

An update from the Cornerstone team:

We are writing with the unwelcome news that we can’t go ahead with Cornerstone as planned this summer. In the current climate you won’t be surprised, but it’s very sad nonetheless. Rico speaks for us all when he says we’re absolutely gutted not to be seeing you at Bedales this Summer.

We were so looking forward to hearing Steve teach us from Ephesians but just because we won’t be at Cornerstone doesn’t make Ephesians any less relevant – in fact Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:16–21 seems totally apt as we grapple with what it means to be one body over Zoom!

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

The ministry team are working hard to help us all to reimagine our fellowship together over the next few months – Cornerstone will be supporting those efforts and we’ll be in touch again once we have a better idea about the shape of the summer.
